November 10, 2025 – Washington, D.C.—The Commercial Space Federation (CSF) is pleased to welcome Seagate Space, Michael Baker International, and Lanteris Space Systems as new Associate Members. These new members represent established NASA contractors, new commercial offshore launch services, and a satellite manufacturer with a long pedigree in space.

Seagate Space: Without investment in launch facilities, the space economy will stall, failing to deliver on its immense potential. Offshore launch sites offer a complementary alternative to existing land-based facilities with many clear advantages. Seagate Space is a forward-thinking maritime company focused on developing this cutting-edge infrastructure for the space industry. Their Gateway semisubmersible concept is a next-generation drone ship that can accommodate launch and recovery in a cost-effective, rapidly deployable manner.

Michael Baker International: A leading provider of engineering and consulting services, including design, planning, architectural, environmental, construction and program management, has been solving some of the world’s most complex infrastructure challenges for more than 85 years with a legacy of expertise, experience, innovation, and integrity.

Lanteris Space Systems: A company built to deliver with speed, innovation and proven success in space – with a track record of on-orbit performance, paired with adaptable, technology-driven solutions, ensures mission success across national security, civil and commercial space. From modular architectures and engineering design to spacecraft manufacturing and testing, Lanteris Space Systems is advancing new technologies and redefining what’s possible in space.

<em>“Seagate, Michael Baker, and Lanteris provide critical capabilities to help strengthen the U.S. commercial space sector in a global competition with China. Their expertise supports CSF’s mission to advance responsible growth, foster innovation, and ensure America’s continued leadership in the global space economy.”

 – Dave Cavossa, President, Commercial Space Federation (CSF)
